Well we met our goal of Saturday for the baby. Karen is still having a lot of problems. Now she has developed toximia and a severe case of pre-plancea. Also the protein in her urine is going up which means that her liver isnt processing it right.
They are going to take her off the blood pressure medicine tonight at 6 p.m. and if/when it goes back up (which it will, has the last 2 times she's been off) they will go in and get Merak out. Doctor plans for him to be born sometime around 7 or 8. He should be alright, he's already 4 pounds so he would have much weight to gain. They have a list of things he needs to be able to do before he leaves the hospital. It shouldnt be too long that he has to stay but it all depends on how developed he is and how well he's doing. Joe is on his way up and we are goig to go up there to visit for a while. Were planning on taking my mother out to lunch so that she can get out of the hospital for a little while and at least have some normal conversation. Should be good for her I think. But anyway I'm off to surf the web and wait on my baby to get here. I'll update after the baby is born with pictures and all that good stuff. Written on 2004-03-13 @ 12:26 p.m. |
